Small Group Ministries

Church can be intimidating to people who may feel lost in a crowd.  Although people come to church for a variety of reasons, they stay for only one reason: RELATIONSHIPS. Small groups are a place to develop strong Christian relationships.  In small groups, people have the opportunity to be loved and accepted as well as develop friendships with others who are also trying to discover how to grow in Christ. Small groups provide an environment for intimacy, growth, and challenge.  Groups at Travis Park meet together regularly to encourage each other by sharing Christian learning, fellowship, and service.  These groups are transparent, a sanctuary, and a place to become vulnerable and share joys and sorrows.  We have a small group for you!

Some opportunities are year round, like Companions in Christ or Disciple Bible Study.  There are weekly study and prayer groups that meet during the day and evening.  Each winter, there's a men's and women's retreat where we gather to study, talk, and deepen understanding of ourselves, each other, and God's work in the world.  On Sunday mornings, there are various adult study groups that meet between the two services.

We also provide opportunities for strengthening relationships and improving various life skills (parenting, living alone, newly married) in small group settings, learning from each other as well as experts in their fields.  If what you're looking for isn't available, we will help you find others who share your interests.  No one needs to feel left out.
